  May has been an awesome month, packed with great energy, hard work, and plenty of personal growth. It was my birthday this month. I turned 61. When I came to work everyone sang happy birthday to me, I felt so loved from my friends at Arohanui xx. The bush walks this month have been a major highlight. Exploring the trails at Summerhill and McLaren Falls offered a great chance to unplug and connect with nature. A huge highlight has been tuning into the native bird sounds along the way, which has made these mid week treks incredibly peaceful and rewarding. I did some fantastic hands-on work over at the Welcome Bay Hot Pools. It wasn't just about putting in the hard yards to help maintain the facility; there was also plenty of time earned to sit back, relax. I enjoyed a well-deserved soak in the natural hot water pool. Balancing good honest work with total relaxation was the perfect mix. Sports was really fun this month. I tried a few new games, the best one was the human board game....

 I had fun setting up the glow track for the race cars, I liked how bright it was.TA

I love being in nature. McLaren Falls is one of my favorite walks. N.O.  

  Yay smashing my goals like a boss!!, hahaha I am so happy 😁 I made my favourite cheese cake today and shared it with friends.TA  

 Today for acts of kindness we went to Wilrose centre to give Shaimma a bunch of flowers for being so welcoming to us at their Waiata session, and for being so good on the microphone.  AN 

 Today I had a nice relaxing massage session in the massage chair and nearly fell asleep! - TR

I had so much fun at Wildrose with my friends singing waiata.TA

Hard work at the Welcome Bay Community Center. Swept up the leaves and earned a soak in the hot pools. It was a great day. -N.O.  

 I finished my kiwi bird colouring picture, it looked so colourful.TA

Today In the Mary Poppins play. We put our vocal cords to the test as we sang “Feed the birds”! WD

Super fun afternoon at Ila Park with bubbles and music. I had fun with my friends. -N.O.  

I had a blast in sports today. We played a human board game. Each spot had a different challenge. It was such fun to try them all. I loved them all and couldn't pick a favourite! N.O.  

Awesome walk up Summer Hill. The views were the best!  -N.O.
