month of June
June has been a busy month for me, filled with learning, friendship, and plenty of fun activities. I have enjoyed keeping active, trying new things and staying involved with my community. I feel young at heart and enjoy making the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I enjoyed visiting the Te Puke centre to catch up with everyone and play basketball. It is a fun way for me to keep fit, active and spend time with my friends and share a few laughs. I also visited the Papamoa library for te reo storytime about Matariki that is in july, it was very interesting and I loved it. During the visit I discovered a copy of Mary Poppins and I decided to borrow it. I have enjoyed reading the book and comparing it to the role play and acting activities I have been involved in. Playing different characters and bringing stories to life has been lots of fun. I have been following the FIFA world cup and cheering on Morocco, this is my team that I am supporting with my friend.
